The village of Fredonia is small, but it has a rich history and has given the world many leaders in law, justice and politics – such as former congressman Warren B. Hooker and notable jurists Samuel T. Douglass and Ozias Bowen. Our team is honored to continue a tradition of excellence in this rich community.

One of our founding attorneys, Richard H. Fessenden, served as an assistant public defender for Chautauqua County. J. Kevin Laumer, of counsel to the firm, is a former public defender for the County. Members of our firm are involved in community organizations like the Chautauqua County Humane Society, the Chautauqua County Youth Hockey Association and the Lion’s Club – in addition to helping thousands of individuals and families find justice after serious accidents and injuries.

Our office is on the tree-lined Temple Street, near the State University of New York at Fredonia and The Vineyards of Fredonia. We have a free parking lot with accessible parking. You can also reach our office on the Coach USA Erie line. If it is difficult for you to get to our office because of an illness, injury or hospitalization, we will happily meet with you at another convenient location, over the phone or over videoconference.

Driving Directions

From the North (Buffalo, New York):

• Begin on I-90 W.
• Follow I-90 W to Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk.
• Take exit 59 toward Fredonia.
• Continue on Vineyard Drive, then continue onto Millard Filmore Drive.
• Turn left onto Central Avenue.
• Turn right onto Temple Street. Our office is on the right.

From the South (Jamestown, New York)

• Begin on NY-60 N.
• Turn left onto Webster Road.
• Turn right onto County Touring Route 73/Fredonia Stockton Road.
• Continue straight onto Temple Street. Our office is on the right.

From the East (Springville, New York)

• Begin on NY-39 W toward Fredonia.
• Turn left onto Bagdad Road. Bagdad Road turns left and becomes US-62 S.
• Turn left onto Buffalo Street.
• Turn right slightly onto NY-39 W/W Main Street. Continue for about 18 miles.
• Turn left onto US-20 W.
• At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto E Main Street.
• Turn right onto Temple Street. Our office is on the right.

From the West (Erie, Pennsylvania)

• Begin on NY-5 E. Enter New York. Continue on NY-5 E for about 22 miles.
• Take a slight right onto County Touring Route 78/Van Buren Road.
• After about 3.5 miles, turn right onto Temple Street. Our office is on the left.
